Fur Trappers Seminar

Niagara Trappers Council annual trappers workshop.

Professional  fur trappers will be demonstrating their skills on Saturday Jan.30. from 10 am to 1pm.

Located  at the Abingdon Hall on Silver Road west of Binbrook.

They we will be skinning and boarding different fur bearers for all who are interested or may want to learn more.

All are welcome, make sure you bring the kids!

The Niagara Trappers Association members Daniel and Mathew Tessaro along with Vice President Todd Griffin were out on a cottontail hunt.

Of course Ann (she’s the beagle) in this picture, without her enthusiasm this couldn’t have been done. With two feet of powdered snow and -15 c you know she has a big heart.

Niagara District Fur Trappers annual rendezvous

The Grand Fur Manager’s Council and the Niagara District Trapper’s Council are having their annual rendezvous and workshop at the Ancaster fair grounds on Saturday Jan.24th at 10:00 A.M..
This event is open to the public and all are welcome.
Admission is free with a non perishable food item.
Vendor’s are also welcome and table space will be provided free of charge.
The Ancaster fair grounds are located at 625 Garner road east Ancaster Ontario.

Hot tasty meals outdoors in minutes

If you spend a lot of time outdoors hunting, fishing or ATVing like I do I know you’ll appreciate a hot tasty meal when you finaly take that break from the action.

Having eaten cold sandwiches and outdoor trail mix just doesn’t cut it when you need a boost of energy but still crave that luxury of a full course meal. Especially when its cold out!
