That sounds really early in the season. I have seen deer well into January in SW Ontario with full racks. Maybe you are more north where antlers are lost earlier in the season for survival reasons? It would be nice to have his sheds this year and the trophy on the wall next year. Looks like you have a great spot with great bucks. I'm envious. Good luck next season.

Hello,

Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you in terms of finding any antlers, but I'm wondering if you could answer one for me... do you know when deer tend to shed them? I'm looking to find some for a project. Thanks!

What part of ontario are you?
I seen a group of deer last night (11 or 12 ) with a couple large deer among them.Watched for about 15 minutes and did not see any antlers on them.It is still early but i think they may have shed already.

People who enjoy Ontario's outdoors could help by becoming a member of an outdoor group like O.F.A.H and Delta Waterfowl. These groups have a voice with government to continue enjoying Ontario's outdoors and membership fees go right back into Ontario.

Excellent. The History of Ontario's, Canada's Conservation movement is fascinating.Game management. From the lows of overexploitation to current levels of game to habitat loss issues. Societal perceptions and conflicts
All well organized and presented.
If there is only so much "environmental capital" that can be absorbed by our society, voices like this are critical to our fish and game as well as societal well being.

Hi Debbie, I have watched the Canada in the Rough show for 6 years, I have interviewed Host Thomas Pigeon and Paul Beasley. Perhaps one of the Beasley Brothers will reply to your hat request.
You can also contact them on the CIR website.

Hi Paul
This message is for Keith.
Last year he was at the Tilbury hunting show and he was scoring with my brother Dennis Laporte. I had asked him for a hat of the show of Canada in the Rough and he said you"s were having new one made and they were not ready yet, and that he would make sure I would get one. So are they ready yet.:)) and can I still get one.
Thanks one the the show biggest fans.
