kath,
i recently had the displeasure of watching your lion hunt on spirit of the wild with Ted Nugent. First, i would like to make it clear that although i am very passionate about conservation and all forms of wild life, i am neither an anti hunter nor a tree hugger. Simply put, i beleive that god created some animals to be eaten, and some animals to do the eating.
Im am trying very hard not to sound completely disrespectful when i ask, what was the point in shooting the lioness? congrats on an excellent shot, although u were hiding behind your ph, and several trackers with firearms. my real problem was the fact that u kept saying,”dont shoot it, dont shoot it”.
It looked to be a double lung hit, the lion was going to die, why not end its misery? Congratulations to you and your husband for building a succesful company, and having the ability and means to travel the world, but was it really necessary not to call for a cleanup shot, when u were already surrounded by armed men, for your own protection.

Knowing Bil & Kath I would think the second shot would be to put the lion out quickly not for protection. I wasn’t there but as hunters we all strive to for clean quick kill shots.
