During the Toronto Sportsmen Show I learned some facts about deer management with Kip Adams – Wildlife Biologist – Director of Education & Outreach with the Quality Deer Management Association.
A non-profit organization that educates landowner, hunters & conservationist about deer through magazines, books, videos and a hands on approach.
Landowners learn about herd management by managing the habitat, hunter education and herd monitoring.
A successful QDMA program requires an increased knowledge of deer biology and active participation in herd management.
Members receive Quality Whitetails a bi-monthly journal. Its a wonderful source of information on food plots, habitat, nutrition and deer management techniques.
