Community input is requested into the design of a Stewardship Program for residents in theLake Simcoe Watershed.
Residents in the Lake Simcoe Watershed are invited to attend one of two workshops to provide their input into the design of an educational and incentive-based stewardship program that will help them protect and improve the environmental health of their properties – from shorelines and watercourses to forests and backyard habitats. Environmental priorities, incentives and other program details will be discussed.Â
If you are interested in learning more about managing your residence and/or property in an environmentally sustainable way, this is your opportunity to help design a program that supports you and your neighbours throughout the watershed. These workshops are being hosted by local Stewardship Councils around Lake Simcoe, in partnership with the province and local partners, and will be facilitated by the University of Guelph.
