 Here’s your opportunity to contribute to the 2010 QDMA Whitetail Report by taking an e-survey right now! See below for details. The QDMA Whitetail Report is a “state of the union” look at deer management issues and programs across the United States .

Although this report is intended to be a useful resource for communicators, media members, and industry leaders; we think you, our members and QDMA supporters, will also find the information useful and enjoyable. Brian Murphy, QDMA’s CEO, presented a synopsis of this report earlier this year at the SHOT Show in Orlando, FL and Kip Adams, QDMAs Northern Director of Education and Outreach, was also invited to present similar material at the 2009 Southeast Deer Study Group meeting in Roanoke, VA. 

A free downloadable version is now available on our website. 

The report is divided into several chapters and contains information on national deer harvest trends, antler restrictions, lead in venison and many more topics.  We intend to make this an annual report and will focus on the most pressing whitetail issues each year. The next edition will cover such topics as QDM cooperatives, whitetail privatization issues, deer predators, and others. In fact, we are already beginning to collect information on some of these topics and you can help us by participating in a brief member e-survey.
