Wild TV Grizzly Award goes to OFAH-produced program

PETERBOROUGH – The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) is proud to announce that its popular long running outdoors show, Angler & Hunter Television, was awarded Wild TV Hunting and Fishing Network’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. The honor was presented at the second annual Grizzly Awards, which were held recently in Edmonton, Alberta.

Since 1994, Angler & Hunter Television has been actively promoting the great pastimes of fishing and hunting across Canada. Viewers have enjoyed eighteen seasons of the fast-paced, high-energy, program while learning about the conservation of our natural resources.

“We strive to deliver exciting hunting and fishing adventures while driving home the importance of fish and wildlife conservation, and this award is a wonderful acknowledgment of the hard work that the entire OFAH team has put into producing the show over the years,” said Angler & Hunter Television Host Mike Miller who will launch the nineteenth season in January. “Our members are the reason we produce Angler & Hunter Television, Angler & Hunter Radio Network and Ontario OUT OF DOORS magazine, and our sponsors make it all possible.”

Angler & Hunter Television, which is sponsored by Mercury, Yamaha, Lund, Browning, Shimano and Winchester, brings key policy makers, industry leaders, anglers, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts of every kind into the living rooms of Canadians weekly.

This is the second year the Wild TV Network Grizzlies have been awarded. In 2010, Angler & Hunter Television was voted Best Fishing Show by fans.

With over 100,000 members, subscribers and supporters, and 670 member clubs, the OFAH is the province’s largest nonprofit, fish and wildlife conservation-based organization, and the VOICE of anglers and hunters. For more information, visit www.ahtv.com or www.ofah.org.
