Military, law enforcement, firefighters and emergency medical services personnel receive special discounts in retail stores

 

WINNIPEG, Manitoba – Cabela’s is once again recognizing the efforts of Canada’s men and women in uniform during the Hometown Heroes event and offering them employee pricing at its Canadian retail stores from Feb. 18-21.

Veterans, active duty military and reserves, Canadian Coast Guard, law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel and conservation officers will enjoy this exclusive discount at any of Cabela’s nine retail locations across the country.

To receive employee discounts, personnel must present valid military ID, badge or other proof of eligibility at the time of purchase in store.

Cabela’s Canada was established in 2007 and currently operates nine retail stores with locations in Winnipeg; Nanaimo, B.C.; Barrie, Ont.; Saskatoon and Regina, Sask.; Moncton, N.B.; Calgary, Alta; two in Edmonton, Alta. The company previously announced its expansion with stores opening in Abbotsford, B.C., and Ottawa, Ont., in 2016, and in Halifax, N.S., in 2017.
