Delta Hires Regional Director to Focus
on Creating New Chapters in Ontario

Dave Bishop, an experienced fundraising manager, will seek out volunteers to establish new chapters and organize events in southern Ontario. He will also work to support the existing chapters in Ontario in tandem with Russ Donnelly, Delta’s regional director for eastern Canada. As part of the organization’s strategic growth plan, Delta Waterfowl has added a new regional events director in Ontario.

Bishop, 59, is a passionate waterfowl hunter and long-time conservation volunteer. He has run numerous fundraising events during the past seven years, including one of North America’s largest waterfowl conservation banquets in Toronto.

“I look forward to continuing to build awareness and support for Delta Waterfowl’s conservation programs throughout Ontario,” he said.

In addition to waterfowl hunting, Bishop enjoys camping, fishing and training his duck dog. He also places a high priority on introducing people to the tradition of hunting ducks and geese.

“I really enjoy taking people out,” he said. “Mentored hunts are very important to me.”

Bishop grew up in southern Ontario, and resides with his wife and family in Orillia, Ontario.
