Don’t let the September 30thclosures keep you off the water. Come join us on Saturday Oct 4th to learn about extended season opportunities for trout, steelhead, salmon bass and muskie on your favourite rivers or better yet, discover some new water. The day will include a number of events such a fly-tying by local tiers (open-vise) and casting demo’s by certified instructors. Product reps will be on hand to showcase the following brands: Sage, GLoomis, Rio, Scientific Anglers, Simms, William Joseph, Ross, Islander, Lamson, Superfly & Outcast.   We are also pleased to announce that Bill Spicer, host of The New Fly Fisher television show and Nick Pujic from Canadian Fly Fisher Magazine & Fly Max Films will be joining us on this day. Bill will be contributing his knowledge and providing advice on fall tactics for migratory species while Nick will be promoting the already very popular Canadian Fly Fisher Magazine and his exciting foray into the film industry with Fly Max Films. And of course Saturday’s event would not be complete without the guides and prostaff  that make up the Grindstone cast of characters who will be putting their BBQ skills to the test as they will be contributing complimentary BBQ’d eats.  This along with in-store specials will make for a day well spent with something for everyone.  See you there!Located at 24 Mill Street in Waterdown  – phone 905-689-9774
