How to win a Filet Knife while fishing

MNR Sports Fishing Program  helps two anglers win a filet knife while fishing

Since 1984 the MNR Sports Fishing Diary Program and volunteer anglers have help contribute valuable information regarding Perch, SM Bass, Trout, Musky and Walleye populations in Lake Erie, Lake St. Clair, Detroit River and southern Lake Huron waters.

Each year personal fishing diaries are filled out on each fishing trip in this easy to use booklet.

At the end of the year they are sent into the MNR Lake Erie  Wheatley office Megan Belore- Assesment Bioliogist for study.

Each angler is put in “The Hat”  for chance to win one of two filet fishing knives.

MNR Biologist Megan Belore goes over the details about the Sports Fishing Diary Program Podcast #246.
