Long Point Waterfowl is a non-government organization that is dedicated to wetland and waterfowl research, conservation and education in the Great Lakes region. We developed our Hunting Course for Future Wildlife Professionals to provide college and university students in wildlife programs with the opportunity to increase their awareness of, and participate in, our hunting heritage. The workshop also teaches students that hunting is an important and cost effective wildlife management tool.
